What sets a Drake’s MTO product apart? It’s the meticulous in-house production that ensures each piece embodies our commitment to quality and individuality. For shirts and ties, we don’t just make them; we craft them with precision and a keen eye for detail. Our unique tailoring block, a hallmark of our designs, ensures every suit we create carries the unmistakable Drake’s signature: a perfect balance of relaxed elegance and sophistication.

Tailoring 

At Drake’s, we’re uncompromising in delivering what we have cultivated to be a distinct look. Our goal is always to achieve a perfect fit, but with a signature softness and relaxed ease in the silhouette. 

The canvassing we use is intentionally soft, allowing for fluid lines and effortless wear. The shoulder? An unpadded Spalla camicia for a natural, unstructured feel. And as for the lining, while it’s usually absent, when present, it’s chosen with the utmost care to complement the overall construction. 

Our cloth selection is a curated collection, largely sourced from Britain, which pairs perfectly with our lightweight construction. We favour long-lasting British materials that align with the timeless quality of the brand: think rugged Scottish tweeds and heavy-duty Yorkshire worsteds woven from British wool—true staples for the discerning gentleman. 

Shirting  

Every one of our shirts is meticulously handcrafted in Chard, Somerset, featuring single-needle stitching and floating interlinings. It’s a sound investment, because if they’re still in style after a century, chances are they’ll weather another. 

We’re proud to create one of the most authentic, traditional OCBDs you’ll find anywhere. Our fabric is thick, hard-wearing, and beautifully slubby—crafted to embody the quintessential hard-working shirt, yet with a mid-century honesty that’s increasingly rare in today’s world. Soft, comfortable, and built to last, our OCBDs have become a Drake’s signature. 

We carry our own Perennial cloths, which have become renowned in the world of bespoke shirting, alongside British brushed cottons ideal for work shirts and country wear. For occasions that call for something lighter, we offer superfine Italian poplins and linens that exude sophistication and ease. 

For the more adventurous dresser, we also offer a variety of styles, including Western collars, camp collars, and overshirts, all with the same commitment to quality and craftsmanship.  

Ties 

Each of our ties is handmade in our dedicated workshop in the heart of East London. Through our Made to Order service, you’ll have the freedom to choose from a wide selection of fabrics, as well as determine the perfect length and width for your tie. 

We’ll also explore the finer details—whether it’s hand-rolled tipping, self-tipped edges, or keepers and interlinings—ensuring your tie is uniquely crafted to reflect your personal style.
