A Return to Tailoring
Summer ends, linen shirts, Amalfi and 100 spritzes are but a distant dream, but it’s not all doom and gloom… in fact it is neither doom nor gloom at all. Back to school - a return to work - and the first taste of autumn offers up a prime opportunity to get dressed again. Tailoring, shirts and ties, and a fresh appreciation for the textures and details of the season.
With that in mind, we gathered a few of the Drake’s team to demonstrate our approach to new season tailoring. Highlights include signature Games blazers and pleated trousers realised in pure Harris Tweed, along with sartorial suiting in cotton drill, soft corduroy, and unique Drake's Made to Order tailoring. Silk Repp stripe and grenadine ties are made by hand in our London workshop. There's the new reversible cotton and tweed Mac coat (coming very soon), along with Scottish lambswool cardigans, Northampton-made shoes, and rugby shirts in brightly-coloured cotton and neutral merino wool to break it all up when required.
