We’ve cut it from a hefty 16.5oz Japanese fabric, faithfully reproduced from an obscure Bulgarian military cloth. It’s got the right details - four generous patch-and-flap gusset pockets, corozo buttons, a throat latch, an internal drawstring waist with leather ‘pig nose’ stoppers - without tipping into costume. Think of it as one of those rare jackets that can take a beating, carry a story, and still feel quietly refined.
