Drake’s Radio Ep. 17: Michael McGregor

Here is a mix of tunes I’ve been driving and painting to over the last year— deeply inspired by AM1260 KSURF, LA’s oldies station, “where the hits just keep coming,” and an old hard-drive I used as a radio station while living and working on  Corfu, where I had no WI-FI. 

Listening to AM radio and digging up an old hard drive both have a similar way of helping you rediscover music you loved long ago, like flipping through an old collection of photos — you remember the vast time, but not always all the incidental moments. These tracks are all about picking up and rediscovering the little moments lost in the vast continuum of life. — Michael McGregor.
