Mayumi Y. for Drake’s Stripe Cotton Embroidered Rugby Shirt

Our rugby shirt proves you don’t need to play the game (or even understand it) to appreciate the tactility and versatility of a proper rugby. Cut from 9.4oz yarn-dyed cotton jersey, it has the heft and presence of vintage sportswear. The collar nods to our ‘English Classic’ shirts, while a slightly trimmer body and higher armholes keep it sharp enough for a blazer or, frankly, anything else.

Part of our collaboration with Tokyo-based artist and painter Mayumi Yamase, the rugby shirt features an embroidered motif on the back and patch on the chest.
