The Chequerboard Print Games Blazer Mk. IV

The Mk. IV returns, cut from an ottoman weave cotton-linen with a printed chequerboard design, inspired by a piece of vintage workwear we found on our travels. The cloth has been enzyme washed to soften it, and the pattern will fade gently over time.

We introduced the Mk. IV not long ago, as the newest member of our Games Blazer family. We took the original Mk. I as a starting point, broadened the lapel slightly, and added a flap ticket pocket for good measure.

But perhaps the most exciting thing about the Mk. IV is the buttons. As you may remember, each one comes with two sets of buttons which are easily interchangeable at home. For something more low profile, you have the plain galalith set, or for something more eyecatching there's the set of brass buttons from historic button manufacturer Firmin, each one embossed with the Drake's crest.

As for the fabric, it's a crisp, airy cotton-linen, that's been printed with a chequerboard design, inspired by a piece of vintage workwear we picked up on our travels. The cloth has then been enzyme washed to give it a soft, worn-in feel, and it will continue to fade over time.

The beauty of the jacket is its versatility. Wear it with denim. Dress it up with a shirt and tie. There's no wrong answer with the Mk. IV.
